Some Samples of Doors and Windows we have installed

Even though we have been told not to judge a book by its cover. does your front entrance represent truly all the efforts you have put into your home?

Doors and windows are one of your greatest source of energy loss. Unless your windows or doors are relatively new, you are better off replacing them with a new more efficient unit. Not only is it a source of energy loss, but it is also a potential for water damage which could cost a lot more further down the road. Missing flashing around doors and window are very common (even in new homes). Most locks are installed with screws that are provided by the manufacturer and usually are only 1" long which does not penetrate the stud behind the door jamb. How many screen door closers have you seen pulling away from the door frame?

Screen door (caution). If that door is facing the sun during the day beware of how much heat is created, enough to bow, crack and damage a door. Solution -- raise the door sweep (bottom) in order to create air flow.
